Looks like Instagram is testing continuous recording and ability to upload longer videos. Over the weekend (October 6 -7, 2018) I noticed I had the upload longer videos ability and then by Monday morning I had continuous recording for Instagram Stories.
I originally posted about this on my Instagram account…
Hey InstaPeeps…So guess what!!!!
Over the weekend I was able to load a 32 second video to Instagram Stories… Say what⁉️ Instagram Stories are a length of 15 seconds. When I selected the video from my camera roll in Stories, Instagram automatically converted the 32 second video into 3 Stories. I was then able to edit each Story by clicking the thumbnails at the bottom and once I was done editing all of them I clicked next and they uploaded to my Stories.
Then this morning I discovered I could do continuous recording with Instagram Stories…Yassss!! I just held that recording button and it kept recording until I stopped. When I stopped recording there was 4 Stories recorded and I could edit each one if I wanted to.
This is amazing in my books! No more choppy Stories by recording one story, then edit and post, followed by trying to remember and pick up where you left off on previous story.
